I saw a great video ad posted here but I searched for the original post and it seems to be missing.
It was a very powerful ad which asks the question at the end,
"When you vote on November 2nd, ask yourself one question:
Will you feel more secure tomorrow
than you do today?"
My question is, where did this ad come from? Who sponsored it and will we be seeing it on TV? There are no credits given on the video.

Regardless of who I vote for or who wins, the answer is 'No'.
It's a very powerful video. Bush should run with this from now until Nov 2.
But where did it come from?
Is the video available in MPEG format? I refuse to load QuickSlime on any system I own. The damned thing gets its tentacles into so many media types, I'd swear it's a virus instead of a media player.
After all, it's from Apple.
Too bad. Ain't gonna happen. I clearly stated why I won't load it. The damn thing's even more annoying than RealPlayer.

I agree, Jay- the dam thing takes over your PC. If someone will convert it to flash or mediaplayer, I'd love to see it.

John Heasman of NGSSoftware has discovered a high risk vulnerability in Quicktime for Windows.
Versions affected include:
Quicktime 6.5.2 and earlier
The flaw permits execution of arbitrary code from an HTML environment. The patch can be downloaded from

NGSSoftware are going to withhold details of this flaw for three months. Full details will be published on the 28th of January 2005. This three month window will allow users of Quicktime the time needed to apply the patch before the details are released to the general public. But if Apple makes a security patch, I would trust it.
The best things about Quicktime is you can move the playhead anywhere and play the video, you can save the video, and you can edit it.
On .wmv files if you move the playhead, you have to wait forever for it to catch up.
