NYT DEVELOPING EXCLUSIVE FRONT PAGE STORY ON TERRORISTS AND EXPLOSIVES. EDITOR HAS SET LEAD POSITION FOR STORY, NEWSROOM SOURCES TELL DRUDGE... DEVELOPING...
Oh, please. A troll posts another "October Surprise" piece of junk, and you all take the bait.
Pathetic.
This troll (9/11/04), is trying to gauge Conservative reaction to this story. Don't give him the pleasure.
This is an old story... Rush was talking about it over a week ago.
Unless, of course, you are a troll yourself?
I guess it's Bush's fault for WMD's finding their way to Syria and god forbid Iran!!!
Why doesn't the NY Slime say that?
Duh maybe because it would vindicate W's arguement that Saddaam was a gathering threat.

OK, so these are designer explosives.
Whoopie Doooooooooo!
There was no way to guard all that crap during the initial invasion and the thefts were bound to happen. Not even with 500,000 troops.
Well, I guess we should all just throw in the towel. Why is it that Republicans get so easily rattled with every negative news report? Did you honestly think the media was going to let up against Bush in the final week? On the contrary, there is going to be one hit piece after another against him in all the usual liberal media organs. If this was such an important story it would have been out long ago, but of course it's being timed for maximum damage to President Bush's reelection. I'm cynical because it's obvious this is a politically motivated article by the DNC controlled media. I'm not saying we shouldn't be nervous or infuriated by the timing, but realize that this is a sign of desperation. Their man is losing, and they're going to pull out all the stops. Be prepared for a very rough week everyone.
Sounds like the Combatant Commander in the area where the arms dump was dropped the ball. The President isn't going to know where every arms cache, oil refinery, and radar site is.
The problem with the anti-Kerry piece breaking in the Washington Times is that no one except conservatives reads that paper, and other media outlets rarely pick up anything reported by it. When Powerline said the story was breaking in a "major newspaper", I hoped it really WAS a major paper, and not the WashTimes.
This anti-Bush piece in the NYT, on the other hand, will get loads of coverage all over.
now I see an article "developing" about the The Washington Post obtaining the Abu whatever prision "diary"....good grief...
"This is a hit piece on Bush"
anything on the front page of the nyt is a hit piece on bush.
No he doesnt, Bush has an issue to take away a lie from them. Saddam did have the ability to make WMD's and was well on his way to constructing Nukes.
I'm thinking this sounds like NYT is getting scooped by Washington Post on an Anti-Kerry October Surprise and is therefore repackaging information for an anti-Bush article.
I agree this is a lame story. I guess they heard about Zogby having Bush up by 5 in Ohio and panicked.
But I thought Saddam was no threat?
These people need to keep their stories straight?
Did it ever occur to them, that it was looted before we got to
Baghdad? Or that we didn't no the location of the stockpile?
Of course, none of this matters to the masters of competency on the Left. They can't change an effing tire, but they can run a perfect war. What Garbage!!

Man this board is becoming like a house full of women on the rag, to many people with emotional ups and downs.
Nothing really as headline grabbing as Monica, and that's how he made his name. And he's been behind the curve badly on recent events like Rather's Memogate, so he needs something to look like the top dog again.
