From the article:

• Leslie McIntosh, 67, a retired railroad worker and owner of a barber shop/pool hall, who told The Star he owned property in Kansas City and Kansas City, Kan., and therefore had the right to vote in both places.

Dam* DemocRATS!!!

Well, my Dad owns a house out in East Texas. When he passes away, my brother and I will inherit that property so I should be able to vote in my district AND in Dad's district, by this ar$eholes logic.

Glad to see they're prosecuting these jerks. Thanks for the post and ping.

>>Just cast your ballot along with your taxes

Works for me. And make one of the conditions to vote, that you actually *pay* taxes, and don't just get an "Earned Income Tax Credit", which is governmental Orwellian Doublespeak for "Forced Income Redistribution at the Point of a Gun".

U.S. Attorneys Todd Graves of Western Missouri and Eric Melgren of Kansas announced federal vote-fraud charges today against three Kansas City area residents:

• James D. Scherzer, 68, an attorney, who acknowledged in an interview with The Kansas City Star last month that he cast ballots in Kansas City and Kansas City, Kan., in four elections since August 2000.

• Lorraine Goodrich, 39, a Johnson County businesswoman who told The Star she crossed the state line to vote in Kansas City for Bartle Hall improvements in 2002.

• Leslie McIntosh, 67, a retired railroad worker and owner of a barber shop/pool hall, who told The Star he owned property in Kansas City and Kansas City, Kan., and therefore had the right to vote in both places.

The three were charged under federal voting-rights enforcement laws with providing false information about their residences. The offense is punishable by up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

McIntosh was charged in Kansas because he was a Missouri resident who registered to vote illegally in Kansas, Melgren said. Scherzer and Goodrich were charged in Missouri because they lived in Kansas, but voted illegally in Missouri, Graves said.

“Election fraud and voting rights abuses dilute the worth of votes honestly cast,” Melgren said. He urged anyone who sees possible vote fraud to report it."

It would be great if billboards with the pictures of these criminals were posted all over Floriduh and other battleground states.

Illegal voting is an act of treason by those who can't win an election honestly..

Do we know the political affiliations of these people?

James D. Scherzer, 68, judging from his name is a Democrat. That family name has been involved with KCK, WYCO politics for years.

Property owners voting twice isn't as bad as many of the welfare types who have all the time in the world on their hands to be taken from location to location. And of course all those non-citizens here to collect the handouts voting for the candidates who promise them the most.

What are you thinking? ;-)
Doncha know? dems been doing this for years!

Republicans just haven't been on the ball.
But after 2000, there seems to be a kindled interest!

Wasn't that the last name of one of gore's attorneys? Kendall?

It's hard to tell. Since they were actually charged with a crime it makes me think they are Republicans because dims generally get away with this kind of stuff. But, since the affiliation wasn't mentioned they could be dims. If they were Republicans that would have been part of the headline.

Is it just me, or does it seem like most news stories are only half written anymore? The affiliation may not be the most important part of this story, but it certainly is the most interesting and it was omitted. Why? Hmmmmm........

Could they do something similar to credit cards where you had to call a number to activate the card and would have to provide secret information to have the activation work?

I guess you are a little selective in your reading... Read the entire post before responding next time. I did expound on my initial comment, that would certainly include my brethren in Iraq.
