This is sickening and must be stopped...or, Christianity and Judaism must also be given the same respect and opportunity to do similar.
Right, Islam is a murderous cult masquerading as a 'religion', but as long as leftist idiots attempt to foist this on our kids as a 'religion', we have a legal tool within the Constitution with which to deny them. When the President finally says we're at war with Islam, then the paradigm shifts. At that point teachers can say we need to know our enemy. Admittedly, forcing kids to dress in robes and learn verses, etc., as if it's an innocent show and tell type deal without informing them of the true nature of what's going on is worse than mere lying. It's brainwashing, fifth column activity, etc.. Disgusting, appalling, and treasonous.
During the Jewish Holiday of The Fast of Esther, jewish students should visit both public schools and MUSLIM SCHOOLS to explain the Fast of Esther and it's significance..
On the 13th of Adar (this year, 5764, the 11th ), the Fast of Esther is observed in - commemoration of the Fast observed by Mordechai and Esther and all Israel. On that very day, the enemies of the Jews had planned to subjugate and destroy them. The opposite, however, occurred and the Jews ruled over their enemies.
I think the Jewish religion should share this holiday with their Muslim brothers and sisters in the interest of Peace and "understanding"..
" Our enemies have tried to destroy us for longer than your "cult" has existed.. They have all failed.. They are all dust.. and we still flourish.. Learn This Lesson Well..
I have no objection to this as long as a reciprocal visit was arranged, with a priest or minister accompanying the visiting students to educate the Moslem students about Christianity and lead them in reciting the Lord's Prayer.
BTTT!
This cannot stand.
Need to contact the Southwestern Legal Foundation about this. They are non-profit and take on such causes.....
I'm exaggerating to make a point, and you probably already you know that.
The point is that it is becoming more and more the norm in this country to prohibit traditional Christian activities and displays in public forums.
This is happening at the same time that we are being told we need to become more knowledgeable and sensitive to other cultural/religious traditions which are often forced on us and our children as evidenced by this article.
If you don't find this to be true you need to do more research. After that, if you still don't agree, you are simply unwilling to see the truth. IMHO.
P.S.
I have no problem with inclusiveness and diversity but when it come at the cost of the beliefs this country was founded on, that's right Judeo/Christian, I find it unacceptable.
Strikes me as cry-baby tactics to scream at ACLU when they attack our values and then call for their help when others attack our values.
There are other legal organizations who can help against this kind of stupidity, rather than relying on a known enemy (ACLU).
Landmark Legal Foundation and Southeastern Legal Foundation are two that come to mind.
WE are suppose to have a separation of church and state. The bible is not allowed in schools, nor the prayer. But yet islam is being allowed. Is it me or what is wrong with this picture. I am dead set against islam being taught, well shoved down our kids throat. I don't think the schools should allow this unless they get written permisson from the parents. I am sick of thess muslims trying to convert everyone to their cult called islam. Their goal is to convert the whole world to islam, whether we like it or not.. Wonder if they every considered that maybe everyone might not want to become muslims, to follow their own religion. They don't care. WEll I wont ever convert and neither will my kids, I hope.
