I was told the pro Kerry documentary "Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry " includes a photograph of Kerry shoving his ribbons through the fence . Is this true ? has anyone seen the movie? Sorry if this has been discussed. I could not find anything in the boards on it.

When I did a Google search I found these articles about it.

and this Slate article mentions it too

A photo would help.

I talked to a Viet Nam war hero this morning. He was a forward air controller in a Birddog, supporting our troops. He spoke about it as casually as driving in traffic on a good highway. No bragging. No bravado. As he said, we won the war but gave up politically.

Someone saw my Viva Bush sticker and gave me his calling card - a conservative blog. Am I the only conservative left without a blogsite?

"we won the war but gave up politically. "

In a couple weeks we'll see if history repeats itself.

Article says the guy, Butler, wouldn't release it, but that the people at Slate had seen it.

Only Kerry's friend George Butler has the picture. He has already refused to release it. There has been some speculation that someone may have captured the event on videotape. But no one has come forward so far.

The film is still keeping people away from the box office in droves. 29th place and dropping.

Last night I had the privilege of viewing "Stolen Honor", at which the producer, Carlton Sherwood, was present. He had a lot of interesting comments for us. He mentioned that he had been standing very close ("as close as from me to you" - maybe 8-10 feet) to Kerry on the day he tossed his medals. He told us that they were definitely medals, and that he also noticed Kerry's perfectly manicured hands. (At least the man is consistent about his manicures!)

"During this scene, Butler includes a photograph of Kerry shoving his ribbons through the fence that he left out of the film's companion book."
This slate article says the photo IS IN the film and not the book.

Definitely would not waste any money going to a film by George Butler.

John F'n Kerry did us in during Vietnam. Now he thinks he's gonna do it again. Kerry is a cowardly appeaser and communist/terrorist tool. Hopefully the majority of the voters recognize this.

October Suprise: Kerry tossing medals or burning a flag?

I am still confused about the medals. He threw them over the wall but yet they are hanging in his Senate office? I know one time he said they were the medals of some other person who couldn't be there so he threw his for him?

I thought that Carter replaced the medals. Or maybe Clinton did.

Kerry threw the medals before he kept them.

Kerry was stripped of all his awards prior to his Bad Conduct Discharge or Dishonorable Discharge. Then once he became a Senator he evidently petitioned to get them back. That's why Lehman's signature was on the new awards (Carter must have changed his discharge to General.) Then when Clinton was in office, Kerry must have received a pardon in order to get his Honorable discharge in 2001.

POTUS with a BCD?? If so, we're done as a nation.

I agree with you 100% (notice my tag line). I can't comprehend how he could be even close in the polls w/Dubya. He's a traitor and I pray we send him packing on 11/2. Can you imagine, we're at war and we have a traitor running for POTUS. Life never seems to fail to amaze me.

Do you have proof he was given a less than Honorable Discharge? I know the rumors have been going around, but I have not heard anything definite.
