Thanks for the input. I've hated Kerry since his Senate testimony days but never thought he could ever get closer to the White House than Moscow or Beijing.
My own observation is that as Commander-In-Chief what could he say to the following hypothetical:
A company of army rangers in Afghanistan decide that the Taliban were given a raw deal and we should not have invaded. This group even sends emissaries to Pakistan to discuss their wholehearted support of the terrorist agenda. They might even publicly condemn their fellow soldiers of atrocities and their leaders of war crimes.
What would Kerry have to say to this group of fifty or so war veterans and heroes? Demonstrate all you want.
You men are entitled to your own opinions. You guys are my kinda guys... keep it up -- we could use you in Washington.
Just a thought for one last Swiftvet commercial.

Kerry himself would be, as commander in Chief, in the forefront of any such effort. He will do what he has always done, work hard towards those ends which are in conflict with our nations interests.
