Schools are meant to teach kids values about life, and it is proven that schools with large immigrant populations have aptitudes levels lower than the rest of the nation. If this person was so interested in teaching their kids, then they would be outraged by the drain illegal immigration has taken on the public school system.
Is anyone teaching school children that entering a country illegally and providing false documents is, well........illegal?!?
Tancredo is one of the few truly honest politicians who want what is in the best interest of our country.

Dear Friend, You have not received a lot of mail from me in this election cycle so far. That is because I don't believe in asking for help unless I truly need it. My last letter was last year - in August - and I said then I needed your help just in case. I discovered just how serious she is when she reported raising nearly as much as I raised during the last reporting cycle. -- In total, she's raised over $500,000.... most of that during the last six months! That's startling. But even more startling are a couple of the names on her finance report. Take a look at the enclosed excerpts from her FEC report. I've circled the names of Rutt Bridges and Jared Polis. When I saw these names, I knew that I had to write you this letter and ask for your help again… and as soon as possible. Jared Polis is a "dot.com near billionaire" who fancies himself as the Andrew Carnegie of Democrat causes. Jared Polis spent nearly $1,000,000 to get himself elected in a 90 vote "landslide" (out of 1.6 million votes cast) to Colorado's Board of Education over a Republican who spent a little over $10,000. Polis is guarded in what he says he wants to do with education, but he told the Rocky Mountain News that kids take too many tests and he told the American Association of University Women he had "reservations" about school choice alternatives like vouchers. You can bet Mr. Polis is no friend of those of us who think parents ought to be able to decide where their children go to school and that their hard earned tax dollars ought to follow that child to the school of their choice - public or private. Not only did Mr. Polis spend $1,000,000 to win his 90 vote "landslide," but he has been slipping thousands of dollars into the war chests of Democrats and even more into the cash drawers of below the radar, liberal education committees that make their living beating on Conservatives. With Mr. Polis behind our opponent, not only do I know she will be well funded; but I fully expect some sort of an attack from one of Mr. Polis' education committees. Wait!! There's more! And according to the Rocky Mountain News (2/12/04), In 2002, he contributed $1.54 million to change Colorado's election laws more to his liking. He failed... Are you picking up a theme here? Left leaning (or in Polis' case, extreme left) millionaires have picked our opponent as somebody they think they can sell. If you ask me, it's the ole coyote hunting strategy. That's where a pack of coyotes spot their prey, then one coyote keeps the victim's attention, while the rest of the pack attacks from the rear. Well, with your help, I do not plan to be the victim. I fully expect my opponent to be very well funded. She (and her millionaire friends --- by the way, my last opponent, who raised and spent more than a million dollars trying to defeat me, is also helping her) will have all the money she needs. But more importantly, while she attacks from the front, the rest of the pack will most likely be attacking from the rear. And we can't forget that they will have the help of the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post. The Denver Post has a target on me because of my belief that our immigration and border policies are in desperate need of reform. I sincerely believe that America is under attack by an unholy alliance between big business who want to hire low paid legal and illegal immigrants, and the Liberals who see the immigrants as a source of political power. The Mexican government is aggressively promoting the so-called "Matricula Consular" ID card. Over 1,000,000 have been distributed to illegal aliens in the U.S. The card's purpose is to legitimize the presence of millions of illegal aliens by making it easier to gain access to commercial and social services. Now President Bush is proposing amnesty (no matter what he calls it, it is amnesty) for illegal workers... AND... the President wants to send up to, what some experts believe, could be up to $345 BILLION in Social Security benefits to ILLEGAL workers now living back in Mexico. The Rocky Mountain News has a target on me for other reasons, some of which I understand, some of which I do not. When you hire a contractor, you do not have control who he sub-contracts to. The contractor is stating that he did not, so this is nothing more than a smear.
I wish we had more men and women with their head and heart in the right place to protect the countries borders that Americans have given them the job to do.
It does not make you racist to want to protect the sovereignty of the United States. Mr. Tancredo is a good man. Much better than the spineless 95% of Congress who refuse to protect our nations borders.
