There's not a single day that goes by that I don't wake with prayers and gratitude for the brave warriors that have placed themselves squarely between the evil-doers and the innocent. I am grateful for every minute of safety I enjoy because of our warriors who stand in harm's way for my sake and the sake of my family and every innocent person across the Earth - strangers all but only until we look into our hearts.
My heart is heavy with your loss. May God bless you and your family in this terrible time and give you some comfort. Please acccept my condolences and those of a grateful nation.

I am so sorry to hear that, too. Please thank your (extended) family for his courageous service, sacrifice. These are terrible times. We are thankful for young people who will put their very lives on the line for our freedoms.
