The Soros connection "Remember that infamous Oct. 8 memo from ABC News political director Mark Halperin, which instructed ABC correspondents to slant their reportage in John Kerry's favor? " conservative author Richard Poe said on his blog (www.RichardPoe.com). "Well, it turns out that Halperin's father is none other than Morton H. Halperin, head of George Soros' Open Society Policy Center. Lowell Ponte reveals Mark Halperin's Soros connection in [yesterday's] FrontPageMagazine.com, in a stunning expose titled, 'The ABC's of Media Bias.' " Ohio ruling In a victory for the Democrats, a federal judge ruled yesterday that Ohio voters who show up at the wrong polling place on Election Day can still cast ballots as long as they are in the county where they are registered. U.S. District Judge James Carr blocked a directive from Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell, a Republican, who recently announced that poll workers must send voters to their correct precinct. In exchange for that, a valid social security number should have to accompany any voter registration, absentee or provisional ballot. It has to be compared to the national SS database, which has to purged of the deceased at least weekly (the bureaucracy is already in place, put it to work). That way multiple votes, graveyard voters, etc. are much less likely to cancel out your ballot.

My thoughts exactly... I'm sure 60 Minutes is all over it and will have a breaking expose of this blatant attempt to manipulate the presidential election the Sunday night before the election...

George Soros will do to American elections what he did for Yugoslavia's. All that experiance of election fixing by Soros was bound to be used against the home country.

Just goes to prove campaign finance reform is a crock. Kerry-Edwards are bought and paid for by Soros.

it's his business...but I don't think it stops there. He can't push the market, by the way, but people like Putin can.

watch the dollar; who's likely to be short, who's talking it down...the different corners from which harmonious shilling comes from is just plain alarming.

Or to be more specific, has Soros used his Quantum Investment Fund money to pay off certain high officials in Venezuela and Nigeria to cut oil production?

I still wish someone would explain how you find out if he has been buying oil futures. but since Brit Hume says Halperin is a friend and a good guy. He can find out for us.
