I'm sorry, unless this story hits the New York Post and then travels it's way up the media food chain this is no more than a rumor.
The timing of it makes us look smarmy. IF this is true, and I suspect it is, this should have been raised, vetted and investigated months ago.
People dont like "October surprises". Look what happened when Gore sucker punched Bush with that DUI. If you have a real story you release it in a timely fashion, back it up and give the target the opportunity to defend it.
If this is the great October surprise it is going to blow up in our face.

This seems a lot stronger than a "rumor"
"the "authority of reference" this board was using in considering Mr. Kerry's record was "Title 10, U.S. Code Section 1162 and 1163. "This section refers to the grounds for involuntary separation from the service. What was being reviewed, then, was Mr. Kerry's involuntary separation from the service. And it couldn't have been an honorable discharge, or there would have been no point in any review at all."

but if the info just became available, should it just be ignored?

If this is the great October surprise it is going to blow up in our face I think you are wrong, I don't believe America is ready for a
Dishonorable Commander In Chief!

This story has been under continuous investigation for a long time. There are no new facts here; just a newspaper willing to ask an obvious question.
