Who can remember when the NRA caught hell over the Robert Kennedy killling in 1968? They and they alone managed to save gun owners from the curse of registration and future confiscation. We may have lost a little in 1968 but we did not loose the whole pot!

We lost too much in 1968, I have been an on again off again member of the NRA because sometimes they appear weak and spineless at least Wayne is not as spineless as those who said in 1968 "If we compromise a little now the antigunners will go away"
