On re reading the article I see one flaw where he says that the Inerians were more adventurous. That was juxtaposed with native Americans.
Yet the native Americans did not have flora, guns, steel etc as elaborated in diamond’s book.
In addition western Europeans were cut off from the fabulous wealth a d spices of innby the ottomans so they looked for alternative routes. Vasco da gama found one and Columbus did not.
