The guy filling in for Rush today (Roger somebody) said the US has a disk from a terrorist with information about certain school systems, including San Diego. I'm at work and only caught part of what he said - anybody have further info?

" Interest in obtaining site plans for schools, bus routes and attendance lists;
_ Prolonged "static surveillance" by people disguised as panhandlers, shoe shiners, newspaper or flower vendors or street sweepers not previously seen in the area;
_ Observations of security drills;
_ People staring at or quickly looking away from employees or vehicles as they enter or leave parking areas;
_ Foot surveillance of campuses involving individuals working together. "

Ya know...if I'm paying attention to all these types of activities, wouldn't I garner suspicion?

Had dinner with a liberal friend last week. We rarely discuss politics because it usually gets ugly, but she told me she's voting for Bush strictly because of the terrorism issue. She said the Beslan crisis solidified it for her: "I can't believe so many people out there don't understand that there are people who just want my kids dead! Bush is the only person who seems to want to do something about that."

I bet she's never voted Repub in her life. But it gives me hope there are other stupid libs out there who are finally seeing the light and hearing the utter cluelessness of the Two Johns campaign.

Islamofascists should know that if American school children are targeted Mecca will be vaporized.

>>>The warning follows an analysis by the FBI (news - web sites) and the Homeland Security Department of the siege that killed nearly 340 people, many of them students, in the city of Beslan last month.

We home school. Every time we read something about the government schools, the more we know we've made the right decision. Our kids are safe from both demonic liberals and Islamofacists.
They're right here with me now. They're safe, sound, and loved.

We are going to see middle schoolers in body bags before we even discuss CCW in the schools.

Government schools kill the mind, spirit and soon the bodies of American children.

"The horror of this attack may have created significant anxiety in our own country among parents, students, faculty staff and other community members," Deputy Education Secretary Eugene Hickok said in a letter to schools and education groups.

Glad to be homeschooling. I pity parents who don't have the means to get their children out.

We were discussing on another thread that MANY polling places are set up in SCHOOLS.

Be careful out there, folks.

• In Tippecanoe County, Ind., chief election official Linda Phillips says she will move an undisclosed number of the county's 81 polling places out of elementary schools to "less vulnerable" sites. She acknowledges that Lafayette, Ind., "may not appear on any terrorist's road map," but she says that "it occurred to me that terrorists could get a double hit if they wanted to strike the election by taking out a school."

The Education Department has advised school leaders nationwide to watch for people spying on their buildings or buses to help detect any possibility of terrorism like the deadly school siege in Russia."""

Hold it - - I thought we were safer because Saddam has been ousted? Guess not. REMEMBER OSAMA? MAYBE IT WASN'T SO SMART TO TAKE THE FOCUS OFF OF AL QUADA. I cheered when Bush, after 9-11, said he'd get Osama "dead or alive." I got grumpy when Bush lost that focus, stopped talking about Osama, and became fixated on a country that didn't have anything to do with 9-11 -- and DIDN'T HAVE WMD STOCKPILES.
