To me the dangerous part is the attempt to undermine the American Electoral process entirely. Our election process has shown itself to be the strongest ever devised, and our method of peaceful transfer of power is possibly the main bulwark that separates us from the 3rd world.

Absolutely. Some of us saw this coming with the subversion of the 2000 election, and the endless recounts, spinning, lies, "Bush was Selected!" and all that other stuff that went on.

As for the latter, truth is nobody wins a civil war. I have no doubt our side is capable of fighting and probably even prevailing at the tactical level, but you'd never heal the country. Just look at the still-bitter fruits of the first one.
