Watched some before the debate. Noticed PMSNBC had a crawler with something about Bush and his National Guard duty going across the bottom of the screen. Sheesh! That is sooooo over but they still can't give it up.

Right. And Cheney drove that point home when Breck made his tearful speech about children in Israel dying. Cheney said the payments from Saddam to suicide-bombing TERRORISTS being eliminated have reduced those attacks. Brilliant!

"Did you hear Scarborough say they should have had a "he's lying" graphic up when Cheney denied ever having claimed connections between the two?"

I've decided that Joe Scarborough has been compromised by the 'rat machine. He acts like a bought product. Not worth the effort to watch anymore. Sorry, Joe--you're fired.

a observation about the debate and one on PMSNBC. Edwards really showed how inexperienced he is in politics. He's trained in speaking to a jury. All that training means nothing in the world of politics.

Towards the end of Hardboiled w/Chris Matthews, they were questioning the decision to make Edwards the running mate. If a panel mostly of left leaning pundits is questioning Edwards, Kerry is in big trouble.

I know, it's great. But I suspect a lot of women were taken in by the Breck Girl.

My wife is not one of them. She likes manly men. If my hair ever looked like that she'd declare me a Metrosexual, or worse, and throw me out!!

whoever thought hiring Ronald Prescott as a political analyst should be fired. he's such an embarassment, and a total moron to boot. Gawd, otherwise the show would be pretty good.

Any third-month psychology student can tell you that rapid blinking and darting or evasive eyes are a "tell". The person is a liar.

Senator Edwards is out of his element in this debate. He is use to talking to a small captive group that must hang on his every word. He knows he is in front of a national audience that ain't gonna buy his lawyer bullchips.

It was another stupid miscalculation by the underwhelmingly intelligent DNC to select John-Boy Walton From Bizzarro-World to be their second-in-command in this critical election that will either sustain or completely destroy the democrat party. I smell a death wish.

"RICE/CHENEY '08"

Better Cheney/Rice in '08 followed by Rice/Bush III in '012

We will be battling the islamics for a long while to come....and need some experience in the Oval Office.

dEdwards always bats his eyes. They're shut as much as they're open. Keep watching, you'll see what I mean.

Halliburton is also so over but you notice the MSM can't give that up either. They make me sick. They think we are too stupid to GOOGLE it and find out the TRUTH. I can't decide if I despise the MSM more than I do Kerry/Edwards. It's a HARD choice.

Prescott...good. Been looking for a name for the little foof. Is that middle name any relation to George Prescott Bush--American/Latino hottie and 47th president?

Oh, me too. But I spoke to one of my undecided girlfriends and she was talking about how great Edwards looks for his age.

I love Cheney. I might even like him a little more than I like the President.

Howard Fineman pointing out how inconsistent Kerry-Edwards are being by saying they'll win the war in Iraq but then trashing President Ahlawi, a man they would have to work with.

The whole panel is hammering them on their inconsistent stance on Iraq. Well, not Ron Reagan.

This woman thought Edwards looked too young and inexperienced and "scared to death". I think he got points just for not fainting in the presence of "Mr. Gravitas." Dick was composed, knowledgeable, credible, patient, etc. etc. Edwards is so far out of his league and so is his new best bud Kerry. I wouldn't be surprised if Edwards didn't have to change his pants after leaving the stage tonight (I'm serious).

To call the presence of Ron Reagan on MSNBC or in any political commentary venue sad would undermine the definition of that word. Ditto pathetic.

One thing I know for sure, after this election it is back to the dog shows for this no talent hack. His father must be spinning in his grave.

The average person manifests measurable physiological differences when telling a lie. They blink their eyes and shift their body posture more frequently, stumble over their words or speak in a slightly higher and faster voice when they lie. Their eye contact is poor and their eyes tend to flit back and forth from one object to another.

This debate killed any momentum Kerry had.

I would agree if I thought anyone but political junkies watched the debates. I think we have to see the ratings before we can decide how this debate effected the public.
