President of Poland Calls Kerry 'Immoral' (Translated from Polish)

President of Poland Calls Kerry 'Immoral' Reacting to John Kerry's omission of Polands efforts in Iraq, President of Poland Alexander Kwasniewski said, "I find it kind of sad that a senator with 20 year parliamentary experience is unable to notice the Polish presence in the anti-terror coalition."

When asked about Kerry's derogation of non-U.S. coalition countries fighting in Iraq, Kwasniewski said: "I don't think it's an ignorance. Anti-terror coalition is larger than the USA, the UK and Australia. There are also Poland, Ukraine, and Bulgaria etc. which lost their soldiers there. It's highly immoral not to see our strong commitment we have taken with a strong believe that we must fight against terror together, that we must show our strong international solidarity because Saddam Hussein was dangerous to the world."

"That's why we are disappointed that our stance and ultimate sacrifice of our soldiers are so diminished", President Kwasniewski commented Kerry's speech during the debate.

"Perhaps Mr Kerry, continues Kwasniewski, thinks about the coalition with Germany and France, countries which disagreed with us on Iraq."

Poland has contributed greatly to the efforts in Iraq. Their troop contribution tops 6,500 and 13 have given the ultimate sacrifice, in order to assist the United States liberate Iraq.

What seems to be a poor choice of judgment, Kerry, so far, has not apologized to the nations that he denigrated that have supported America, during these times of challenge.

Polish President disses Democrat President wannabe

This is how the Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski (who happens to be an ex-communist) reacted to Kerry's remarks during the presidential debate (link in Polish, my translation):

"It's sad that a Senator with twenty years of experience does not appreciate Polish sacrifice... I don't think it's a question of ignorance. One thing has to be said very clearly: this Coalition is not just the United States, Great Britain and Australia, but there's also contribution of Polish, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Spanish soldiers who died in Iraq. It's immoral to not see this involvement we undertook because we believe that we have to fight terrorism together, that we need to show international solidarity, that Saddam Hussein is a danger to the world.

"From such a perspective, you can say we are disappointed that our stance and the sacrifice of our soldiers is so marginalised. I blame it on electioneering - and a message, indirectly expressed by Senator Kerry - that he thinks more of a coalition that would put the United States together with France and Germany, that is those who in the matter of Iraq said 'no'.

"President Bush is behaving like a true Texan gentleman - he's fighting for the recognition of other countries' contribution in the Coalition."

Polish Prime Minister Marek Belka also took Kerry to task for forgetting about the other 30 or so countries involved in the Coalition. He was, however, philosophical about Kerry's rhetoric: "During election campaigns things are said that one shouldn't necessarily take at face value."

"It's sad that a Senator with twenty years of experience does not appreciate Polish sacrifice... I don't think it's a question of ignorance.

The above sentence is what struck me.

Poland is a great friend of the US. Kudos to the Polish people for standing by us in a time of need.

F-16,

Mark my words, Kerry will loose Pennsylvania. This state with many of it's citizens with a proud Polish background which includes a yearning to be free, a strong work ethic, and combined with either a strong Catholic or Jewish background, after these remarks he can kiss it good bye

I can not see Kerry carrying any population center with strong Polish backgrounds.

Kerry must think France absence from the coalition effort in Iraq was more important than Poland's presence in Iraq, fighting for a freedom and security in the world.

Ohio has a lot of Poles too and I'm wondering if the W campaign is targeting the Polish community.

"I don't think it's a question of ignorance."

Right, people could not be making uninformed decisions at THIS point, they could not possibly be ignorant. It must be they know VERY well what they believe and have made a very CONSCIENCE choice to either be with us or AGAINST us.

He is not ignorant, he is just very much against us!!

yesterday on Fox, one of the Kerry apologists was on Fox (can't remember which show or spokesmen, sorry) and he claimed that the "Polish leadership" claimed that they were angry that "Bush misled" Poland .. did anyone else see that? Having read the Polish President's statement I found the Democratic claim, which went unchallenged, fairly bold, to say the least.

Kwas a few months ago said something like this "We didn't have enough intelligence informations and this could be a little misleading"

AFP - Agence France Press translated it in this way "Bush mislead us"... Kwas explained it on the next day.

If kerry wins I predict Poland will pull out their troops from Iraq, follwed by Bulgaria, Ukraine and other Eastern European countries.

If Howard wins next week and Kerry wins, the Aussies may even pull out.

Now that we're talking about it, I would call Kerry something entirely different.

CHEATER!

Bush was on the defensive because of an incredibly Lib moderator asking biased questions.

Kerry cheated.

"WHAT'S WORSE?"/kerry

I know Bush can't talk about this but the GOP and talk radio needs to talk about this. Kerry's behavior has been so shameful that even our steadfast allies can't help but rebuke Kerry from overseas for his irresponsible, offensive comments. This is not a small thing in my opinion. Allies generally keep their mouths shut about any candidate of an election anywhere. If they say things that could jepordize their relationship with the U.S. if Kerry gets elected, you know it must be extremely offensive to them.

"That's why we are disappointed that our stance and ultimate sacrifice of our soldiers are so diminished", President Kwasniewski commented Kerry's speech during the debate.

I am having trouble here.

I am so outraged at the insults kerry has leveled at our genuine friends in this war on terror that my loathing of kerry and his smallish mind, so bent on destroying our nation's resolve to win this war and so bent on destroying our military that he no doubt hates (it is possible that the records he WILL not release deal with some government issues over his anti-war, flat out treasonous behavior) is approaching the boiling point.

I don't even think bill klinton LOATHED the military more than I LOATHE john kerry.

I have put a large sign in my rear window in my car that states:

Give the VIETNAM VETS

THE PARADE THEY NEVER HAD!

DEFEAT KERRY!

I was on the highway, I-70, Ohio and Indiana, yesterday for about five hours and I have NEVER, EVER, gotten such a positive response from fellow passers by....it was phenomenal!

I know that people are aware of this arse's exaggerated service and arrogant belittling of our effort to defeat terror!

It is ALL more of the same from john kerry....an incredible childish sickness that makes him care more about popularity than about doing what is right, and he would take that credo to our WH, because this man has no core, he is who he is, he does not know who he is, and being our president will not change that aspect of john kerry.

Good point! We can add Poland to the growing list of countries (France, Germany and Iran) that have no use for Kerry. But his statements are an insult to the coalition members are dispicable.

Kerry, for all his talk of summits, is doing everything he can to undermine our allies and destroy the coalition we have. And complaining about the burden of doing the job in Iraq flies in the face of his supposed resolve to win.

The New Europe is being led by those who in recent memory fought for their freedom against communist oppression. The memories of fascist oppression in Germany and France, sadly, have faded, and so is their resolve to stand up to evil. The elite lib crowd just cant get past the fact that their cocktail party friends accross the pond are less relevant globally, yielding to the younger democracies in Europe.
