He's right that it's a victory (IMO), and I'm sure the point will also be made that this is proof that terrorist attacks are effective.

Yes, I'm sure that's what it's called now. Thing is, it will trigger different rules of engagement. One can respond to attacks from a foreign country with the full force of your military, per international law.

Why is this POS living it up at Israeli taxpayer expense, eating 3 squares a day (even while his felow inmates were "hunger striking") and getting all this media attention?

Well given that the arabs call the Yom Kippur war the victory of Ramadan, I guess their definitions of victory is different from ours...
