Anyone know off the top of your head what Bush's lead was prior to the debate according to Newsweek?

To be expected, Bush better get some rest before the next debate.

Never trust the MSM to give you any truth at all. Their grabbing at straws!!! And once again trying to deceive the people. This is one of their fantasies!!! I guess if they hope for it long enough...it'll come true. WRONG!!!

"Another fine mess Bush has gotten us into."

Tne infamous Dick Morris blames Bush's handlers...saying they convinced GWB not to be too harsh on Kerry so he wouldn't alienate voters (especially women voters).

The only poll showing on Newsweek.com is a GENEXT poll showing Bush and Kerry tied among younger voters.

Where do you get your numbers from. I have last Newsweek ant 50-45 on 9/10. I can't find your 11 pnt lead anywhere.

Yeah, but how much of a lead did they have him at?

Please read posting 15. Newsweek had Bush up 52-41. This is terrible news.

Well it is a Newsweek poll, but I also think it is likely.

How's that for Nuance?

While I do not trust newsweak, I am interested in the internals. I dont get how Bush can blow a 6-8 point lead over a single debate.

Lets wait and see what other polls will show.

For sure it will give the media somthing to talk about and claim that "Kerry is making his come back."

*sigh*

What is odd is that this is in opposition to the dims own poll.

BUSH LEAD GONE (SIREN UP)

Nonsense. Watch the average of the reputable polls over the next few days, Bush still will have a good lead. Even in the latest post debate polls, he still does.

Remember, overpolling Democrats could make the poll seem closer.

It could be a deliberate MSM attempt to give a bounce to Kerry.
