Mexican women flocking to Holland Mexico City, Mexico, Sep. 30 (UPI) -- In the last 12 months, the Dutch embassy in Mexico has granted 450 visas to Mexican women, 300 of whom married Dutch men, Reforma reported Thursday. "Mexico's major export product to Holland is Mexican women," said Jan-Jap van de Velde, the Dutch embassador. "There is much immigration of the 'family' kind ... and we note an considerable increase from Mexico to the Netherlands." In commercial terms, van de Velde said, there is a great potential to export other things from Mexico to Holland, like nopale cactuses, flowers and vegetables. Perla Dominguez, a Mexican woman who married a Dutch man and is moving to Holland, said they appreciate Mexicans more in Holland than they do in the United States. "I have a group of six friends and we get together every two weeks and all of us have Dutch partners," Dominguez said.

Spain, Italy, Canada... Mexicans with marketable skills (engineers, accountants, nurses) prefer those three countries. The tired, the poor, the huddled masses are going to the United States, simply because they can get jobs there right away. 450 women a year is hardly a trend.

Okay, maybe I am missing something, but what's wrong with Dutch women that the Danish men need to import women from Mexico in instead?

(Don't get me wrong Mexican women can be and are beautiful too, but why waste the money importing a girl when one is right there for you?)
