Many of you I already see here, but heres a ping to those who don't know about it!
If I didn't have dogs? Well:
I could turn over in bed at night without fear of disturbing small furry bodies.
I could wake up at night and not have a patrol to escort me to the bathroom.
I wouldn't wake up at night because of large,loud snores coming from tiny moist noses.
I wouldn't laugh as they play "don't look at me" and barked at each other.
I wouldn't call my husband daddy and he wouldn't call me momma.
My life would be pretty boring!

Wow. Beautiful dog! I admire this breed and have thought of getting one. I have heard they are top notch watch dogs.
Hi Jack!! I am feeling better and thank you for asking.
I believe that's gonna be my undoing. I'm not supposed to lift over 5 pounds for 6 MONTHS. Do you know how difficult that is to remember when you feel well? Trust me, it's impossible. Needless to say, if I haven't already messed up all my doc's hard work I am one blessed puppy.

Things are a little slow on the thread right now, but will pick up dramatically as soon as I can sit comfortably and have finished training our 4th addition to our family...Boudreaux the Bodacious Boy Toy of Jordan.
We 'ave da flu 'ere. Yuk! But puppies are taking care of us :-), lots of deep searching looks and hand kisses. They know when we don't feel well. If one has to lie in bed there is always a furry companion so it isn't too bad.

My dog tale (gr) of the day.
I was running late getting ready for work. I heard Solitare and Jackie having a convention in the bathroom while I was making the bed. I hollered at them to get out of the toilet.
I went into the bathroom and they weren't drinking. They had their heads together in deep discussion. Solitare has a paper fetish and I figured he was going after the tissue that I used while putting on my make up.
I flushed and the water came up rather than going down. I thought, well just great and grabbed the plunger. Water still won't go down.
I looked and see blue in the outflow. My plunging had forced the ball with the hole and the bell firmly into the pipe thingy.
It took me 10 minuted of pulling and rocking to free it.
I am just grateful that it wedged right up front instead of deeper.
I was late for work, 10 minutes.
I can't help but agree, Jack. I do have some sweet babies.
Only problem with Boudreax is he's STILL growing and the vet anticipates a max of 130-140 pounds. Thank heavens the three girls bitch slapped him into submission early on.
Great story! Now here's one for you.
Boudreaux had his snip and clip (neuter) Monday. He came through like a champ. When I brought him home from the vet that afternoon he had his very first leg lift pee ever and all seemed well. We came in the house and he seemed to settle down and get ready to recuperate.
The moment little Judy Blue (who has been in heat for the past two weeks)came into the room, Boudreaux bounded off the couch and started mounting her. Now, he was accomplishing nothing but air humping due to the height differential between the two (approx. 15 inches), and I'm not worried that he'll succeed, but this has been going on constantly (every 10 minutes or less) for five days and it's getting a bit obnoxious. The kicker is that he never went near JB the previous 2 weeks she was in heat and his equipment was intact; why now? You've just got to picture this! I wish I could send you a video.
Come on all you guy pups, I need an expert opinion on this one. Is ol' Boudreaux trying to prove something or what?
