We keep a 100ml bottle of epinephrin in the medicine locker just for cases of anaphylactic shock(phoneticly spelled). It's come in handy with the animals a few times and twice on bipods. One time was when my daughter had a friend over and was sunbathing. It seems she had some sort of reaction to the sun based on some sort of medication she was taking. It saved her life. Her throat swelled shut, blocking her airway. We tried inserting a tygon tube, but it kept sliding wrong. A beesting the other time. 1ml per 100lbs of body weight.
An ambulance is a half hour away for us.

(I survived John Dupont's wrestling camp and all I got was a lousy tee shirt and a prolapse.)

Sounds like something out of The Sims. . .
But hopefully without all of the incontinence and other trauma....

The story is told of a Philadelphia talking head who allegedly had an interlude with a gerbil. Last I heard, the story had been debunked. Interesting how the gerbil/hamster in Man scenario keeps cropping up.
Now, the stories about Japanese men and chickens..............

Interesting how the gerbil/hamster in Man scenario keeps cropping up Well, it was a musical epi of South Park. "Lemmiwinks, your journey..." or something to that effect.
Now, the stories about Japanese men and chickens..............
Eons ago, I recall seeing photo of a Spanish construction worker that died, co.., um, bird in hand, so to speak,
specifically a chicken, when a wall collapsed during his lunch break.
However, I remember from James Clavelle's Shogun, the British pilot being offered a duck, not a chicken.

Even though 17 cases of anaphylaxis caused by pets have been reported across the country since 1995, it is quite rare that such an allergic disease causes death, Kiyota saidWell, duh. 17 case since 1995 is already pretty rare.
