The flow has only been slowed once in recent years, it was during Clinton's first term, then Clinton issued a Presidental Order and stopped the Border Patrol from going to job sites and arresting the Illegal Aliens and the employer. Contractor's voices were heard in Washington not the average person.
That order still stands. If you think this is a false statement ask an older Border Patrolman in private. That is the only way they will answer. They don't want to lose their jobs.

You have a point there, maybe it was reposting to an even more desolate place.
I have heard what I said from more than one older Border Patrolman. It's the old sixty mile from the border limit for them. After that a illegal is free to roam.
