This is the first I have heard about the cause of the injury. For some reason I thought she was injured in a car crash. This makes the whole situation far more interesting.

The husband Michael Schiavo (with his mistress Jodi) wants Terri not only to die but to die a horrible death.

Michael has been franting in wanting to have his wife die. He has prevented her parents from visiting Terri because he claims to fear they want to harm her -- shades of Scott Peterson. In addition he has done other spiteful things to her and her family.

Let's not forget that the case of what happened to Terri (reportedly at the time she was alone with him) was never investigated.

Terri should be protected by the disabilities act. But where is Ashcroft?s

Yes! World Net Daily is one of the best.

I'd like to urge freepers everywhere to contact their United States representatives to ask them to support Terri's right to live.

... but there's no clear proof and no written intention.

This is what I find so disturbing about this case, as well as the general trends evident in society today regarding abortion, euthanasia, doctor-assisted "suicide", and all the other trappings of this culture of death that the so-called "enlightened judiciary" seems to have erected. In the past, the assumption was that in the absence of evidence to the contrary we acted on behalf of preserving life. If we erred, it was on the side of caution, assuming that a sentient, rational being would likely choose to live rather than die. Now, the tables have turned. We assume that people would rather die than live. The default position seems to be to kill first and ask questions later. That doesn't bode well for the infirm, the helpless, the voiceless, or those who have lost (perhaps even temporarily) the ability to communicate in an understandable way.

But, then again, the ghosts of, going on, what, 50 million or so dead since Roe V. Wade, will attest to the injustice of that. Once a society makes the decision to slaughter it's children, it isn't much of a step to take that to it's logical endpoint and start doing away with "useless persons". The shadows of Hartheim, Somnenstein, Grafeneck, Bernburg, Brandeburg and Hademar are looming large over the Florida legal landscape.

A right to live ... not to be killed

That's fine as long as I don't have to pay for it. My dollar, my choice.

What a surprise. It is the judiciary that provided the cover for the current holocaust which claims thousands of lives each day.

That happens only rarely because her husband refuses to allow Terri's parents and siblings to visit. When they do, a policeman is present.

And let us not forget that Terri is forbidden to receive Holy Communion by order of Michael. If that isn't an abomination, I don't know what is.

"Memo to the court: If this murder isn't prevented, Terri's blood will be on your hands."

How can the court legally sanction 'murder' when 'murder' denotes an illegal act?

I have said something about this before, the pure audacity in which the Florida Supremes disregarded the US and perhaps State Constitution in this matter.

Perhaps if the positions on the high court were elected instead of appointed, this attitude would change with an alarming speed.

And, yes, that is a wake-up call for you Florida voters. Do not allow this woman to die, for the next one could easily be you.

For the information, including that contained on the minicd mentioned below, send me a snail mail (land mail) address and I will send you a CD that you can use for further distribution, contacting individuals, etc. If Felos is saying Oct. 3rd as the soonest possible time to pull Terri's feeding tube then we don't have much time.

Another beauty from World Net Daily! Thank the Lord that Barbara Simpson and Sarah Foster have been faithful in keeping Terri's story and the truth behind it on the internet! Long live the pajamahadeen!

If anyone would like to be on/off my Terri ping list, please let me know here or by FReepmail. All requests happily honored!

When they do, a policeman is present.

What a disgusting figure is this "husband."

There will be more cases to follow this where someone wants to pull the plug on another to avoid any personal inconvenience to themselves!

"Terri Schiavo lives - day to day. She has survived a mysterious injury, 14 years of medical neglect and mistreatment, the actions of her husband and the backhand of the courts. On that basis alone, she deserves to live." ... Not to mention the inalienable right confirmed in the D of I and Const. But then, liberal pukes like sit the benches in Floriduh don't care a whit about such founding documents, they're remaking this Republic into a democrat liberal puke paradise!

That kangaroo court should NOT have the power to decide this. It appears justice is perverted in this country due to liberal judges. We must take the system out of their hands and keep it out.
