Some of the stuff I've read indicates we shouldn't expect any trial and disposition until late 2005/early 2006.

I recommend a firing squad in a pig pen.

Please, oh please, honor Saddam's career with a fitting end!

His head on a pike!

Saddam Hussein will get a fair trial before his execution - which is more than the people he executed ever got.
Iraqis should varnish their primitive barbarism with a shiny democratic veneer.

Prolly raise enough money to pay off the national debt..

How about showing Saddam's execution live on pay per view? Then give the money to those who survived the torture and the families whose loved ones were murdered.

Promote it as "SADDAM'S DAY OF RECKONING". Hell, I'd shell out $40.00 bucks to watch it.

"If they would just shoot him, I'd offer to buy the bullets."

A gut shot or somewhere else which would require a lot of time (suffering) before he dies - put it all on C-Span, the entire episode. Can't be any more painful than the DNC convention.

No reason we/they can't do both.

How about also having the event co-sponsored by the manufacturers of the guns, bullets, scopes, and clothing?

I heard the Rev. JJackson say, "Saddam is out of power, but not out of office." The rev seemed to be implying that Saddam was still the President of Iraq.

It would be normal for him to side with the Bathist, that gassed 5000 Kurds to death, and the terrorists and the French.

JJackson hates America more than the fat pig Moore does.

Let him choose among 3 doors.

Behind door #1 - Death by shredding - slow motion - feet first.

Behind door #2 - Lethal injection of pigs blood.

Behind door #3 - Spin the wheel - the wheel has body parts and whatever one it stops on is cut off. He keeps spinning until there's nothing left.

Annan also confessed to the Mexican news agency, Notimex, that he did not feel any safer now than before the attacks of 9/11, despite the Coalition efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Hey, Kofi, there's a simple solution.
Move yourself and the U.N.OUT of New York and the United States.
Now, wasn't that easy?

HEY! This is totally unfair.

After all, there hasn't been one interview with his 'gramma' from her front porch saying;

"he was a good boy", "he would never do this", "he was home with me at the time", "he was just turning his life around", "he had a job interview tomorrow" ... and my favorite ... "he doesn't even own a gun".

~~liberal Leftist MSM mocking off~~

"Could Saddam and the U.S. cut a deal?"

I'm sure there is a lot of information that Saddam could provide that would be helpful: WMDs, names, dates and places with regard to the Oil for Food scandal, AlQaida and other terrorist groups at the very least. I'm sure we'll find out all he could tell us eventually, but he could speed things up. None the less, the Iraqis should be the ones who decide on his fate.

Ridiculous.

Aziz has been working with Saddam for many years, since before the Gulf War, and was certainly not as old then. He knew exactly what was going on.

They are preparing the world media for what is coming. Tariq has cut a deal which they won't announce as a deal. Rather he is "too old" to execute ...

And because most people don't remember past last week, it will probably work.

I think it's hilarious that (AFAIK) none of the hostage takers have demanded Saddam's release!! ;-)
