"...and a rally in Cedar Rapids..." Oh Boy! A good lungful of the air in "The City of 5 Smells" should clear his voice nicely.
It's been awhile, can anyone complete the list:
1) Quaker Oats
2) 3-Minute Oats
3) ADM
4) PenFord
5) ??
I think #5 is a meat packing plant but I'm not sure.

It's Bush's fault.
According to them, so is Hurricane Ivan.

I've believed for a long time that Kerry's health would start to suffer in the heat of the final weeks of this election. I just don't believe he has the physical and mental stamina for this race. A national election, constant travel, speech giving, perpetual stress. Think about how many breaks he's taken along the way. The primaries almost destroyed him, and this despite the fact that he basically coasted to victory as the default candidate. It ain't like running for the Senate in Massachusetts. (I just pray he survives to lose as big as he is going to lose on November 2nd.)

Candidates for national office often offer up medical excuses for why they cancel out on previously announced plans to tour in a particular state.
It ususally indicates they have given up there and want to spend time and money elsewhere--but they don't want to alienate voters or admit their campaigns aren't doing well.
