Gee, Sadr City, roadside bomb, who would have thunk it?
Very good, Radix, very good. Please, God, let loved ones see loved ones.
Radix, I almost fell off my chair laughing! Are you insinuating that I am always trying to catch up. ROTFLMAO!!! I want these scumbags found and as much as I'd like the same to happen to them, I would prefer they assume room temperature, with losts of holes, asap!!
Thanks, DBR, for the introduction.
Welcome to the Canteen, Mike. We are here 24(almost)/7/365 providing a fun place to hang out. Hope you have the opportunity to stop in.
PatriotGirl.....Jeanne's coming to Florida. Are you safe? Or are you going to get beat up again? Stay safe.
Message sent.
Thanks, Spotsy, for the Commander in Chief pictures. I can just imagine how surprised our soldiers were.
Excellent article, Spotsy. I don't think there is any hope of the MSM ever telling the truth.
BTTT!!!!!!!
Hello to all the troops! Hope you are all well!
Well, you're right Ma - Jeanne is headed here. I live in northern Palm Beach County, and it looks like we may take a direct hit again. The plywood is back on the windows, and I have the gas cans filled up for the generator. (I am lucky enough to have that, at least.)
They are talking about it being a category 3 when it hits, and Frances was only a 2, so I'm definitely nervous. All of the debris from Frances is still piled up - they did not have time to pick it up yet - and I'm afraid it will blow everywhere.
Plus we have been warned to expect extended power outages (and no phone service) this time around, since many of the fixes from Frances were only temporary. So after just getting back online and getting my Freeper "fix", I may be absent again for awhile.
Please hold down the fort everyone, and take care. God Bless!
Prayers lifted for your safety during this hurricane.
I am so glad you let us know, both how you are doing, and what the future may hold. I'm really glad about the generator and gas for same, unlike one of the other kids. LOL! Are you safe from falling trees? I hadn't thought about all the downed stuff wrecking havoc. We will send prayers for your safety. You sound as prepared as possible. Good luck!! Go away Jeanne. We'll be watching the news, and please check in when you are able. *HUGS* Stay safe as best you can.
Turning back the clock: Shadows creep over the wetlands of Washington's Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. Under a 15-year plan for the sanctuary, farmland that was drained and diked more than 100 years ago would revert to salt marshes and mudflats for migrating salmon.
Sending hugs!!! Take care, and we will promise to miss you until you come back!
I will again be praying for all who are in danger from these hurricanes.
Evening, PG. My Demented Sis is over in Tampa, and we're all watching close.
Hang on, and get creative - you'll do just fine. Just stock what Sis does: The Captain and Coca-cola.
We'll be here when you get back!
Friday Night was Steak Night...
Just PPHHHBBBLLTTT!!!
