I have heard people say that extreme Islam is just one branch on the tree of 'the religion of peace'. I say the analogy is backward.
Extreme Islam is the tree and American Muslims are the branch, only because they know a Christian nation would not put up with the societal laws they want, ie. women are property, genital mutilation, etc...
