Patrol Officer: "Do you know why I pulled you over?"LOL. Reminds me of a time I was pulled over unfortunately doing over 100MPH. The officer asked me if I knew how fast I was going. I told him I thought I might have been going a little over 55 MPH. He got a kick out of that.

I was pulled in south California by an unmarked. When he asked me "Do you know how fast you were going?", I replied, "No sir, my speedometer only registers 80 and I had it pegged". Same response, he laughed, BUT, he said I was the first person to ever tell him the truth in this situation. He let me off with a speeding ticket just below the speed at which he had to arrest me and take me to jail! BTW, that was back when 55 was the national max.
