We know Begala and Carville are, openly. You just know there are oodles of "informal" and "friendly" connections between the media and the organized parties and campaigns.
I guess you're right.
If the media did this kind of s*** with a business story (for example, slyly alerting a friend of upcoming news that might drive a stock price up or down) I think the reporter would be fired and prosecuted.
But since it's only the future of the country at stake, the stakes are a lot lower!
