5% is actually my comfort margin as well. If W is up by 5, then even if the RATs have registered thousands of voters who are not being counted in the polls, it still won't be enough for a Kerry win.

A 5% lead will also mean that W will win by big enough margins in the swing states that the RATs can't cheat and won't be able to credibly claim W didn't get a mandate. Winning by 5 will certainly not be easy, but we have a real shot at pulling it off.

Ahhh, the Loch Ness Monster roller coaster at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. I've been on that one many times, and I can tell you that the whiplash and G's that this thing pulls is NOTHING compared to those caused by John Kerry's flip-flops!

Very close to my boyhood home, and one of the classics. One point for those who have yet to visit Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. Go ride the Loch Ness Monster before enjoying the beverages of Das Festhaus and/or the Anheuser/Busch brewery. :-)

Although somebody told me they discontinued the brewery tours??

Hmmm... I haven't been down there in 4 years, but I think they were still doing the tours then. BTW, I agree with you on the rides. Get them out of your system before you enter Das Festhaus. I've been wanting to go back since they have now added Ireland .... finally!

Is Kerry toast?

No.

He's French toast.

Evidently Kerry gave a sizzler of a speech this morning, lambasting GW about Iraq...as the wrong war in the wrong place. Jay Serverin this afternoon on WRKO said it was the best speech Kerry had ever given. Since Jay thinks we shouldn't be in Iraq and kept saying this was the speech Kerry should give, he thinks if everyone heard it, the race would be tied or GW would be losing. Someone at work had headphones on this am and must have been listening to the speech because he commented that Kerry was really laying into Bush. Let us hope nobody heard the speech, but I suppose C-Span will replay it and Kerry will do more of the same since he's probably gotten a lot of positive feedback from RATs.
