Seth Dvorin's father is a retired detective out of the New Brunswick police department, and he is very, very proud of his son.
Seth's father is extremely embarassed about his ex-wife and everything she has said about Seth. (The couple got divorced more than 15 years ago, if my memory is correct.
There was an article in The Trentonian with the father's point of view, but for some reason it is not in the archives.
Also, the thing about the father not paying for college is baloney.
How do I know. I spoke with him several times after a previous newspaper story in which Niederer said some outrageous and hurtful things about the son and the family.
Believe me when I say that this woman has such hatred in her heart for President Bush than she does respect for the memory of her own son, Seth Dvorin. How pathetic is that???
Lastly, the thing about the military recruiter breaking a promise is bogus to the max. Seth joined the military after 9/11 because he wanted to serve his country, not to get $$$.
http://www.duckdaotsu.org/seth_dvorin.html and one where Seth's father said some not so kind remarks about the war: http://ebs.gmnews.com/news/2004/0603/Front_Page/025.html
Needless to say he did have these comment in the second post:
"I dont feel [Seth] died in vain," he said. "He knew what he was doing when he went in." He added that if the troops were pulled out before rebuilding the country, then he would feel his son died in vain.
Interesting. From what I'm hearing, somebody is spinning this for some reason. But why? I can't imagine the Republicans doing it, since it's to their advantage to isolate the psycho Mom as a psycho, and not impugn the rest of the family. And the Demonrats have no incentive to do it, because the nutcase is on their side of the issue. So where is the malicious propaganda coming from?
