Yes she was. I don't remember seeing that in this above article; but it was on our local radio talk show (I am in NJ, 20 minutes form where she lives).
and, didn't she state she tried her best to talk him out of joining? Soooo she is probably angry at him and taking it out on a President she didn't vote for and didn't like before she lost her son.
What was she active in? I searched for older links on her and only found one entry, and that was for when she went to some community meeting about a run-of-the-mill real estate issue.
I think it would be important to prove her longtime radicalism, as Nancy Lessin, the spokesperson for MFSO (military families speak out) is a LONGTIME radical activist whose son was killed in Iraq and is cynically playing the bereaved mother game.
Perhaps the talk show you were referring to was discussing Lessin and not Niederer? Lessin and Niederer can usually be found in the same place these days. )-:
