I can't imagine this happening during the WW's. People understood what patriotism was and how fortunate they were to live free. Even in the times of depression. We also had a movie industry that supported the war, sold war bonds, many joined to serve and if they couldn't they helped out at the USO and entertaining troups. Now we have a bunch of anti-war, Socialistic examples for our young.
