I wonder why Sue Niederer doesn't spend a few minutes looking at videos of 9/11 and then pondering what might happen if they blew up the town where she lives, if they set off a dozen suitcase nukes loaded with ebola or worse all over this country. Her son and millions of others would be dead. She says he didn't join for patriotic reasons, but for money and a chance of a job in the CIA or the FBI. Her son was a patriot, although she doesn't realize it. Perhaps in time she will. She should be proud of him.

She's too self-centered to know her a**hole from a sinkhole...

I get the impression that her son's widow is the polar opposite of Ms. Niederer. Otherwise we'd hearing from both of them, and we aren't.

I'm willing to give this woman a bit of a pass for being outspoken against the war (losing a son is difficult, especially if you were against his going in the first place), but not for interrupting, indirectly threatening, and wishing harm to The President. My investigation of her indicates that she probably hasn't been an active radical in the past, but more likely got "radicalized" by her son's death and the International ANSWER/Not in Our Name vultures who are probably going after every military family that loses a loved one in Iraq.

One can only hope that 5, 10 or so years from now when we're still free, the Mideast is more peaceful, and terrorists have been marginalized that she might see things differently.

If that happened, she'd blame Bush and say he didn't do enough to keep us safe -- or his war in Iraq caused it.
