.

Nicaragua and the POW/MIA issues are two issues that need to come to light.

More at the John F. Kerry Timeline.

I'm not going to address McCain because I haven't looked into it. I can only suspect that Kerry is still waterboy for the Communists.

Kerry also:

Blocked the Vietnam Human Rights Act in the Senate in 2001, which tied U.S. aid to Vietnam's human rights performance, and had passed by a 410-1 margin in the House of Representatives.

Persuaded the MIA/POW Senate committee to vote unanimously that no POWs existed in Vietnam in order to open up trade with Vietnam (his cousin C. Stewart Forbes, CEO of Colliers Intl, received a contract for a huge commercial deal worth at least $905 million to develop a deep-sea commercial port at Vung Tau).

I understand, however there will be others reading this and may well have "intel" on what exactly went on in this charge to normalize relations.

You have done excellent work and I will be checking in to see what you have uncovered.

Thanks.

This may go far in explaining the really deep and prominent animus that Oliver North has for John Kerry on a VERY personal basis. John Kerry was in direct conflict with practically everything that North was trying to do in Nicaragua, by openly backing the most anti-American faction in the country.

Tom Harkin is on the same sh--list.

Two of the most poisonous slanders against the US during our lifetimes were the idea that most of our soldiers in Vietnam were war criminals and then the notion that the people we supported against Castro/Che/Ortega/etc. were a bunch of psycho murderers. By now, most everyone knows Kerry's contribution to the former myth. This article makes a good case that he was also instrumental in the latter.

February 13, 1970 -- Candidate Kerry tells the Harvard Crimson, "I'm an internationalist. I'd like to see our troops dispersed through the world only at the directive of the United Nations," and that he wants "to almost eliminate CIA activity."

The appropriate words to describe Kerry should not be posted on this or any decent website. The man is truly despicable. He is like the bully on the playground who picks on little kids but as soon as someone his own size comes along he cowers and whines for help from all his punk friends. This has been the theme of his rise to power, from disgusting accusations against his fellow veterans to slimy accusations against freedome fighters all in the name of "what will get Kerry ahead." He isn't even a real man.

Good article.

I think that I still have an old Christic Institute poster of “THE SHADOW GOVERNMENT” given out when their founder was touring colleges.

Politics takes on an urgency that we need to seriously address when we have ctitzens in this country that elect people like Kerry to be their representatives and leaders.

Doesn't southern Florida have a significant population of Nicaraguan-Americans?

How well I remember those days as NPR spent most of their news time helping the Commies in Nicaragua. They had a number of Ortega's goons on the air and assumed that few people would understand what they were sceaming in Spanish (most of whch NPR did not translate). Those commies wanted to see the downfall of the US by whatever means possible. Along with those bits of commie propaganda, we also heard the Catholics for Peace outfit who were also another commie front supporting Ortega. That Kerry was involved is no surprise. He's a commie sympathizer and that has been proven.

And, who could forget Peter Jennings eating crow as the Nicaraguans voted to throw out Ortega and his Cubano Cohorts. I thought he was going to choke.
