Just a few of the names of "men" (these really were LITTLE BOYS in adult bodies!)I was thinking about! It used to be VERY well known that the women in the lefty movements were treated worse than whores were.Teddy Kennedy is also just like Hoffman and Rubin et al,in oh so many ways.

Scratch a Dem and an old hippy/Commie shines through.

By and large,Conservatives treat women as equals,but better. :-)

Women "used to be selfless"? In WHAT universe?

And her insipid,cretinous spew about women's issues? Since WHEN are things such as tax cuts,smaller government,less government intrusion,etc. dual sided? Why on earth would a woman and a man see such things differently?

The poster either craves attention and/or decided to "put men in their place",for some unknown reason.I'd LOVE to see her go up against what I have,on many threads here.She has NO idea WHAT flaming/baiting is and should go back to just lurking;or leave!

First, I want to say that I am new here. I have been reading this board for a little while, but I did have it confused with New republic, which is NOT a conservative site! Lucianne's site set me straight!. Now, I read this site regularly, and will post here as well.

As for women being selfless, WHEN was that, MAYBE 40 YEARS AGO? In my own life, I, as a male, have been the recipient of a LOT of women's "selfless" acts, like acting like they liked me, just to get another guy's attention, playing a joke on me, in "acting" like they like me, out of a dare, or pretending to be a friend,just to get help in college, and then, ignoring me, and threatening me, never to speak, look at, or even come near them, after they passed the class. I have always treated women with respect, My mother taught me that. I have not had that respect returned to me, very often.And, is it selfless, to think that you should"take credit for what other people do, to get ahead", as one woman recently recommended? my mother IS selfless, so are a few people her age. but, aside from a woman I knew 17 years ago,when I was 19, most of the women I have known personally since, have just USED me, for their own benefit. I am NOT the only guy who feels this way. It seems the women today only want the nasty, selfish, brutish guys, who do NOT treat women respectfully, they look at men like me, as "losers", nerds", freaks", and so on, because I am more interested in political matters than sports, because I want a real relationship, not a weekend, because I am pro-life, pro-family,pro-God, and so on.

Sorry to go on this way, but i just figured that after all of the women's perspective of mens faults,(and believe me, I KNOW men who fit the descriptions that have been stated, so I do feel for the women who have been hurt by them, BUT, WOMEN can and DO hurt MEN, ALSO) it was time for a man to speak up, and be counted. I am sure I will no longer be welcome here, neither.
