Sarcasm? I thought it was based on scholarly research? I thought why he was targeted was because he said the old (lost?) verses stated that Allah had equals (three sisters?) and that isn't compatible to Islam's exalted status of Allah. Solution: beheading of Rushdie.

Yes, he is very brave. And I have read the Koran and it makes no sense. Some parts are beautiful, but so what? This guy is really going up against a lot. But he's so right. I have nothing against religions and have one for my own, but this Mohammad guy is bonkers!!
