The absolutely best part of this is that it shows that CBS knew the documents were frauds before they broadcast the story.

Are there any lawyers who can comment on the potential penalty for knowingly broadcasting fraudlent information in an attempt to influence an election?

Of course they knew they were frauds. They probably had just gotten them, from the guy that created and "aged" them.

ABC sees the story, in CBS being a weak competitor.

CBS still hasn't recognized they oughta stop diggin.
