Thank you for the synopsis of the Byrd story. I remember how horrible that whole thing was - such an awful way to die, and the pain his family his family had to relive.
*There* you are with our pictures today - thanks a whole bunch!
Thank you again for your compliment, sistah D! I know exactly what you mean about knots in stomach with this whole political scene.
LOL! I don't know WHOSE Wednesday November 3rd will be! You three always do such a great job working up the Wednesdays! LOL!
(((((((((Dutchess))))))))))
How's Rusty?! :)
I counted forward every two weeks from this Wednesday....looks like it won't be mine. LOL
You three always do such a great job working up the Wednesdays! LOL!
Speaking of which, tomorrow is going to be a Finest re-run, I'm afraid....another Play Day!! I've been so involved in helping Amy with the FR Picnic, I ran out of time and couldn't get an original post finished......but, that's okay, we can all use a "play day" every now and then, right?
Sistah hugs!
OK .. besides .. DC isn't a State :0)
LOL. Oh, lets hope and pray! What a celebration that will be, and a relief to FINALLY have it over with! I don't know how many more of these elections I can take.
Hey, I just saw BobJ on CNN with Paula Zahn talking about the forged documents. It's a miracle that I came upon it. I don't watch CNN, was channel surfing and spotted Bob and realized, "hey, I know him......he's one of ours!" LOL.
Great job, BobJ! Always happy to see FReepers getting air time.
Oh my gosh...just checked out the calendar and...if things don't change...I do Wed. November 3rd. Nightmares of 2000...should I be saving flip flop pictures....Oh My Gosh.... (just kidding...we're going to be celebrating....I feel it in my bones!....plus need lots of help from you sistahs!!!! :o) )
That's what sistahs are for. Whatever you need, let me know. :-)
I have a good feeling about this too. In fact, I am so sure about it that I am making plans to go back to DC for the Inauguration!
We'll all be celebrating in here that day, looking forward to it.
Good night!
Me too....wouldn't it be great to have a "finest gathering"!!!! Hey Aqua and Billie (dansy pippin, free and deadhead too) time to plan a DC trip in January!!!!!
Oh, you can be sure we will have a Finest gathering somewhere in DC! If not an actual ball, at least we'll see about renting a small room for a get-together. I refuse to come all the way back to DC AGAIN and not meet up with all the Fine east coast FReepers that will be there. :-)
I asked mine and he said he didn't really want to go, so I will be going back with Amy. I don't like to travel alone and neither does she, so this works out just fine! We will be bringing her 4 year old niece with us. She is a little doll and a lot of fun to be around. :-)
I do hope that somehow you can make your way up to DC and get together with us. It would be wonderful to hug you in person. :-)
Sounds tempting. When is that, in January? We should have plenty of time to work something out by then. *fingers crossed*
Yes, keep those fingers crossed!
You've got mail from earlier :o)
