Five outspoken Sept. 11 widows on Tuesday will publicly endorse John Kerry
Whoa. I don't blame her husband either. I don't fault any victim of terrorism - I place the blame on terrorism.
Kristen B. might be filled with hate or anguish or who knows what, but asking her to blame her hubby for walking the same steps upward that the NYFD was walking doesn't register.
Peace.
"Good....this just exposes them for the liberal HACKS they have become!!"
You are right about that. If they want to support Senator Spitball, they deserve each other!
Liberal hate resembles Islamic hate in so many ways. An Islamic terrorist sets off a bomb that kills a lot of Arabs and the Arab world blames Israel and the US for inciting Arabs to kill each other. It's always our fault, don't you know?
When asked what they had been doing since their husband's died it was quite revealing to learn how much Mrs. Burnett had accomplished for the good of others, while Breitweisel had nothing to note other than her working to be sure people are accountable for 9/11.
When Deena said she was proudly working for republicans and President Bush, the NJ gal just sat there looking like she had a bad case of indigestion.
The New York Times did a survey of the 9/11 families a few weeks ago. The vast majority blamed Clinton, not Bush, for 9/11, and most trusted Bush more than Kerry on the War on Terror. The story vanished without any other discussion in the media, because it was the opposite of what the Jersey Girls have been pushing.
This will do nothing to help Kerry and will do much to undermine the recommendations of the commission.
Jersey girls in these pro-kerry spots is standard Dem playbook of parading victims. It has been quite evident to me for overlong, Dems (particularly if you study "progressive literature") wish for a war to take place on American soil. It's standard Dem playbook: divide groups. Divide the US. From Howlin's post, I'm curious -- is it 3 or 4 of the widows' husbands worked for the same firm. Curious to see what Cantor.. is.
I think he will need a lot more than that to win but I guess when your that far behind, five votes is a big deal.
If its satisfication they want I can think of a less debasing method then supporting Kerry.
These 'rat hacks will be this election cycle's "Granny D for CFR".
That's about as authentic as a $3.00 bill. Kristen's father is some hot shot democrat in NJ so her agenda to blame Bush was clear from the start. While I sympathized with their loss initially, their love of the spotlight has taken it to new heights where they sort of guess where we've gone wrong and try to find a party to pin it on. Frankly, they owe us an apology for believing we're all morons buying into this crapola.
The Jersey Girls have finally come out of the Kerry Kloset where many of us knew that were all along!
As someone noted earlier on this thread the vast majority of 9/11 families do support President Bush. Unfortunately those families have not gotten much notice in the biased media.
They are yellow dog democrats who would vote for Kerry if there were 10,000 candidates running for president.
Kristin, I am sorry your husband along with 3000 others died on Sept 11. However, being the widow of one of 3000 does not make you a intelligence and national security expert. Please go home and go away.
yeah, she can lead with her "I voted for Bush in 2000..." and sound just like McPeak. With D standing for Desperation in the Kerry campaign I wouldn't be surprised if they make a commercial out of it.
I'll bet all of those email addresses bounce with full mailboxes..
I know you all probably read this and think -- so what! But, there is something pervasive that I can't put my finger on and it really bothers me. I have tremendous empathy for ALL the 3000 families from 9-11 and they are entitled to their feelings. But her comments are telling, to me, of something much deeper. They claim they didn't know one another prior to 9-11. They did a yoemans job of getting an investigation into the attacks... and, according to the 5 members of the panel on the Hardball Special they indicated the women had been anti-Bush until they received the report and then they did a 180. This just doesn't seem like a 180 to me...
but that makes my prior point. These women seem well-educated. Surely they realize that we had EIGHT years of pasifism under Bill Clinton and they lost their husbands because of it!!!!! Pasifism doesn't work! That is why they though we would go: "oops, two naughty planes got mixed up and hit the Twin Towers in New York City today and then oops, another one got off track and hit the Pentagon and then oops... another one crashed due to some unknown mechanical malfunction in Pennsylvania today! THAT is what we would have received from Clinton/Gore/Reno!
Comments such as these go along with the school kids that were warned before the attacks... I can't believe all the urban legends that spring from these things. Anger is no excuse for ignorance.
