And I just heard on the Grapevine that one soldier who testified in the "Winter Soldier" hearings says now that he was pressured by anti-war leaders, including Kerry, to make up stories. Did I hear that right?

I wonder who Rather is protecting. The identity of his source could be one of the biggest stories of the year. I wonder if other media, out of competitive rivalry with CBS, will go after this.

He may be protecting someone but I think it has at least as much to do with hubris as that.
I would have thought ABC/NBC/CNN would have buried this out of professional courtesy but the fact that they have reported on it so extensively means all bets are off. They may very well go after this source.
