Because we are more direct in the new media. I don't have to take Dan Rather's word, or your word, or anyone's word for something--I can check all the souces I believe and come to my own conclusions, without Dan and his crew telling me "Hey, we're CBS, OF COURSE we're objective!"
I thought the left was so into "choice", yet many of them fear losing their hold on the discourse...because now we ALL have access to facts.
