While watching this documentary I was amazed that it has taken 30+ years for the POW's and veterans to be heard. Before no one believed or wanted to hear about it.

But now realizing that many men and women went to thier graves with the stain of dishonor, have now finally been vindicated and their honor somewhat restored for the sacrifices they made.

Another example of time being the great equalizer.

The Vets and the POWs are duing there part

Our brave men and women in the sevices are doing their part

We here at home must do our part and make sure that George W. Bush is re-elected Nov 2. We must all turn into Broken Glass Republicans.

"THE PARADE WE NEVER HAD"

Fifty-seven trombones led this big parade
Followed by two hundred sixty Swifty vets
They were followed by POW's in rows and ranks
The nation's finest who finally get our thanks

Modestly in place was our President
Leading Viet veterans by the score
The Stars and Stripes were everywhere
Waving proudly past the cheering crowd galore

Fifty-seven trombones hit the counter point
While we Freepers lined the streets by the score
Thundering, thundering all the way
The rhythm of "harch, harch, harch" made us roar.

LET'S MAKE SURE THESE VETS GET THEIR GRAND PARADE!

Leni
