Let's see, there are seven weeks to go till the election. If we all buy one or two books a week we can keep it on the top of the charts! Give them to your friends and family members who are undecided or who need a kick in the pants to get out and vote.

I bought the book, donated $25 two weeks ago and another $25 yesterday as per email request from the Swifties. Best money I ever spent during an election cycle! May God continue to bless....those of you with a direct line to God, please ask for mercy concerning the arrival of Ivan.

I agree. I've purchased four and given two away - and let a number of people read the two remaining books (I'm keeping at least one first edition to pass down to my son - since it's such a historic book in many ways). I'm going to purchase at least one more and donate it to my library. If everyone does this, not only will the sales stay high until November 2, 2004, but libraries will have them on the shelves for people to read.

Got my copy at Costco this past weekend. There were only 3 copies available and now one of them is mine. As contrast, there were at least 3 huge stacks of Clinton's book of lies. I noticed a few people with Unfit for Command in their shopping carts - none of the Clinton book.

AARG! If we could all FIND a copy. My local Borders and B Dalton are still without it. They said that every one that they've gotten so far has gone to people who've put their names on a list. I'm on the list waiting! :(

I've had one copy nearly a month ago from Amazon already, so I don't need one for myself, and have since sent that copy to my brother who's in the service, stationed at GTMO. But I sure wish my local bookstores would get their act together!

My Costco had Unfit for Command sharing an endcap table with Clinton's book. In less than a week, the UFC books were gone, and the Clinton books still there, but now sharing the table with American Soldier.

When I went through the checkout line with my copy of UFC, the cashier commented that this book must be really hot. He had not seen a book sell so well in all his time at Costco.

Anyone have a link to NYT reporting it as #1 on its list?

Go Swifties! I've donated twice and will again the 1st of the month. IMHO Kerry should have to resign from the Senate and face charges by the time this plays out.

Good luck with your library and donating a book. I've tried to do that here in liberal Maryland and got shot down. They will take my money to buy the books they deem acceptable however.

My Costco had American Soldier too. There were significantly more copies of Clintons' book available than Tommy Franks too. It makes me smile to think that O'Neill and Franks will receive more royalties than Clinton (or their designated charities will receive the money).

Where do you buy it? The two bookstores in my hometown don't have it and claim that they can't get it.

We live in Annapolis, MD. The local Borders had a stack of them on a table last Friday. I'd be happy to do a recon trip and see how many are there and pick one up for you!

I saw it at Sam's today. They have a big stack. There is a new cover now - yellow strip that says NYT Best Seller on upper right corner.

UFC continues to be #1 on Amazon

Its #2 now behind "Treachery : How America's Friends and Foes Are Secretly Arming Our Enemies". Kitty Litter's book is now up to #3 on Amazon.
