Drudge is suffering from the problem of any small business that seeks to grow: he can't do it all now, the information is just too much. But he doesn't have the resources of a FreeRepublic, where people contribute freely. Even if he has a couple of elves, he has, I think, reached the "wall" at which he can no longer add value.
FR has now surpassed Drudge---as if that was ever in question.
Drudge is my homepage, and I still like Drudge. But I'm finding that when I read a new article on Drudge and then come to FreeRepublic there's already a thread with 200 posts. FR beats him nearly every time.
