I live not too far from Senator Miller's office in Young Harris GA. If you want to send the good Senator a note of thanks, post on this thread. I'll print the thread out and drop it off at his office, letting them know that should he like to return a comment, I'll post it here at FR.
Dear Sen. Miller:
Although I have no children, I am an aunt to 20 and great-aunt to 45. I share your deep concern for the safety of the children in our fine country. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is more important than maintaining our freedoms for their generation, and keeping them safe from harm.
Thank you from the depths of my heart for articulating your feelings so very well. It certainly touched me.

The Truth Shall Set Us Free. My Grandfather lived and died a farmer in Pelham/Cairo, Grady County, Georgia. He had your values. I'm sure he's smiling down from Heaven tonight on hearing your words. You are truly a Great American.
I have never been so moved by a speech. You brought down the house!!! God grant peace to your soul for speaking the truth.
On NBC, the entire time Lynn Cheney was talking, John McRino gave his rebuttal of Miller's speech to Brokaw. He put words in Miller's mouth, and negated his speech. McCain is a liability, and a moron. He also said that he didn't want to "show a lack of DISrespect to his constituents". Let Bush make a dumb boner like that and see if it slides, but Lap Dog gets a pass.
I watched your speech with my 19 y.o. daughter. She registered last yr as an indy. Between her gasps during your speech, she announced for W.

We live in the northwesternmost area of Florida (the Alabama line is just a few miles from where I live) but you never know what a hurricane will decide to do. It's not likely to come here, but one never knows.

Thank you for your service to our country as a Marine. Thank you from the parents of two West Point graduates who have both served honorably in combat for this nation. Thank you for telling it like it is regarding the Democratic party and it's leadership. Thank you for a straight forward address tonight.

Told it like it is. Where has the likes of you and those like Scoup Jackson gone? The answer is below.
How anybody could support and vote for a ticket who has the endoresment of the communist party and the socialist party is beyound this American..and John Kerry/John Edwards have that support from those two parties.
There is no democrat party any longer. Its become the national socialist democrat party and they have thrown out those the likes the Millers and Jacksons, Phil Gramms, et al.
Thank you Senator Miller. You are a statesman and great American. May God grant us victory in November and may your family be blessed.
