I live not too far from Senator Miller's office in Young Harris GA. If you want to send the good Senator a note of thanks, post on this thread. I'll print the thread out and drop it off at his office, letting them know that should he like to return a comment, I'll post it here at FR.

Thank You Senator Miller!!
Your speech was an outstanding oratory work of art!!
You said what needed to be said about President Bush's opponent and I am very proud that you are a man who stands on his principles.
The people who serve the American people need to remember the lesson that you illustrated to them this evening....it should be America First and Party Second.
Thank You again Senator...God Bless.

Mr. Miller,
My older kids and I sat and watched your speach absolutely spell bound. Apparently there is at least one statesman left in the United States. We can only pray that there are others out there somewhere. Our country depends on it.
Your speach brought to mind the movie "Mr. Smith goes to
Washington." I want to thank you on behalf of my greatest
possessions, my kids, for your speach tonight.
God Bless.

If there were any Americans left that needed a wake up call as to the relevance of this election, ZELL MILLER woke them up!

The future of the civilized world is at stake and George W Bush understands that full well.

Truth stands the test of time and is welcome from whatever source. The keynote speech at the RNC by a Southern Democrat was spectacular. Finally a Southern Democrat who is the antithesis to WJC. Thank you, Senator Miller, for your patriotism and willingnes to stand for American as a nonpartisan in her time of need.

Thank you Senator Miller. God Bless you and your family!

America first!

Yes they really do believe that spitballs will do the trick, (watching 'hardball') because they don’t have any disagreements with a one-world government without an American constitution.

Thank you Sen. Miller, for standing up for your convictions. You are an inspiration to all. My mother is so impressed with you she said she wished she lived in GA so she could vote for you!

I used to vote a split-ticket and voted for Clinton in 96

I'm still an Independent but, after the Democrat's buttressing of Clinton during his impeachment I swore I'd never vote for a Democrat again.

I was wrong....I'd vote for Mr. Miller.

God Bless You Sen. Miller

As a former Conservative Democrat (I was young enough to switch parties without feeling guilt) it was so meaningful for me to hear my frustrations with my former party in such an elequent and passionate manner. Thank you for giving me and many others a voice.

This is the Democratic party that I grew up with while living in Atlanta during the 1970s.

I never left the Democratic party, they left me.

Zell Miller brought back some fond memories tonight. It was a breath of fresh air to know that many of the people I loved so long ago, never departed.
