I hope it obliterates Disney in Orlando. I hope there is NO sign it was ever there.

ONLY DISNEY!

http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/float-ir4-loop.html

Eyewall replacement cycle is looking more obvious now on IR loop. The outer eyewall was reported to be 50 miles in diameter so you may see the eye expand in size to 40-50 miles in diameter after the cycle is finished. After that, the cane will likely increase in size and intensify further.

Nasa closing

Nasa will close at 5pm tonight (9/01) and will not leave a team behind to ride out the storm. Hubby said that they are buttoning down and leaving.

Great map! I'd been looking for a map that showed both the track of the hurricane and the major cities.
Looks like we'll finally have an Orlando hurricane that beats both Donna AND Charley!

The Bush Administrations (both W and Jeb) should have anticipated this and not rushed into this weekend without a sure-fire plan to win the peace!

Damn those fascists.....

I hope Floridians make it through this ok. My brother is currently in the middle of a typhoon in Okinawa where he is stationed.

What's up with the looters and "prowlers?" These people should have enhancements put on their prison sentences, but unfortunatly we let these people go.

And why can't more of our hurricane names reflect the diversity in this country? How about hurricane Javier?
