I just overheard (I really don't know how the tv got put on msnbc) Brokaw interview Mike Barnacle... and in the background heard a choir practicing Battle Hymn of the Republic. The choir was very good.

".. and in the background heard a choir practicing Battle Hymn of the Republic. The choir was very good."Probably the Wilkowski arrangement that has been used so frequently (Reagan funeral, 9/11 service at Washington Cathedral)... very, very moving.

It was the Harlem Boys Chior that did after Laura spoke.
I wish I could have been on this thread last night but I had a project I was working on and could only hear the TV.
My favorite part of that arrangement is the accapella part where the line "In the beauty of the Lillies..."...wow..just wow.
btw, not much of the media covered what I thought was the best speech last night, Steele, the Lt. Gov from Maryland, I see a rising star there. 2012 VP?
