John Kerry's spokesman on veterans issues, John Hurley announced on Fox News Sunday August 22 that John Kerry was right when he accused US troops of committing atrocities against civilians "on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command." Why would Hurley continue to repeat John Kerry's malicious slanders knowing that they had been completely discredited? Furthermore, why is the media trying to give credibility to the views of this John Kerry spokesman on veterans issues even though he has been exposed as a calculating liar? Well, I don't think I need repeat that question. Lying seems to be second nature to Hurley because on Monday August 16 he appeared on MSNBC's 'Scarborough Country' where he falsely stated that that the Washington Times had called Unfit for Command a pack of lies. The following Wednesday the Times published a scathing denunciation of Hurley's own lies. Like John Kerry, on his return from Vietnam Hurley, now a Boston Lawyer, also accused US troops of being war criminals. Among those he condemned was the engineering battalion with which he served. Tom Perdue, who served in the same battalion, was so outraged by Hurley's lies that he tracked him down and confronted him with his own slanders. Hurley was forced to admit that he had slandered his comrades. Yet this liar refused to correct the public record. Nevertheless he now has the nerve to go on Fox News to repeat the same vicious slanders in order to protect John Kerry. [snip] |

Someone needs to hold up a list of our Vietnam war dead from Massachusetts and ask Hurley if he can point out which ones are war criminals, then start reading out the names and when and where they died. Lists are readily available online.
I keep forgetting the last numbers on Gulf of Tonkin Yacht Clubs handle.... gggrrrrrr...
Good question. The media would never ask.
Ouch! Fortunately Kerry has the worst PR people around!
Shall we call this Chapter III in the Kerry, self destruct saga? They just can't decide if Kerry should hang his hat on being a war hero(definitely not) or anti war, pro communist(yep). personally, I love. Alienate one group at a time until your vote count can be done on your fingers and toes. Keep up the good work Kerry Kampaign.
Keep the Kerry Kool-aid Koming.
lol
NOT a good response. Whichever vets weren't preciously mad are going to be furious now...
Yes, he really needs to be more detailed in his talking points.. like actually having a plan for one.
When the enemy is hanging themselves, just keep giving them rope and do not interfere.
oops, previously
This is the kind of guy who kicks hornets nests and then bitches when he gets stung.
Kick away.
Hey, Kerry and his campaign people are not only getting rope, they are braiding it prettily as they use it! LOL
Unfortunately, the Washington Times did trash the Swifties in its first piece on the allegations. But then they came around. I was really worried for a few days. Hurley was always scum.
These people can't keep the story straight.
That's a pretty tough challenge. LOL Rudy was too funny tonight about all the flip flops ;)
Well, this will most definitely seal it for Kerry and getting the Vet Vote. It's over. This remark, made today, is huge. It will enrage many vets who have just kept quiet about what Kerry said 35 years ago when he returned from Vietnam because that was 35 years ago. Now, the same accussations are being made in 2004 on national television by a proven liar and the media STILL puts him on.
Many more Vets will drop Kerry like snail puke and be incensed that the media is helping this guy.
I think the Bush gaffe about not winning the war on terror was just erased.
Double distilled poison koolaid.
I hope Kerry and Hurley drink a belly full.
